Hello, we've had a nesting mallard in an I closed court yard without a male. She recently hatched three ducklings out of maybe 9 eggs. She just left the nest with them this morning, they are two days old and she has not returned to her nest. :( Those ggs seemed fine, even one changing color, but we've had some cooler weather and she's not going back to her nest.

Will she leave those eggs and just rear the three ducklings, she's a new mother we think. She ate from us lettuce, peas, oats and grapes. We got some of the flock starter for ducklings. But worried about those eggs now two days without her on them. :( Any advice what to do about the eggs still in her nest??? ;(
