What’s there works. Yes, you can always put in the modern glass doors if you’re in a moderate climate. Or wood if elsewhere. But, If get a comprehensive exterior landscape plan happening that included the whole exterior first.

I like the doors that are there and agree landscaping would be ahuge improvement .You could do the same look for the doors but in glass

You have a great approach to making this design work for you. While it isn't the most traditional approach to garages, making the prominent structure most appealing is uniquely thoughtful design!

You can absolutely do a stained wood/wood look garage door; it would really compliment the style of your home. The recommendation would be to go with a light - mid-tone stain to provide contrast against the dark brick as well as add warmth for a more inviting palette:

Another option to consider in "artifying" your garage and making the design elements really pop would be choosing a finish with a high reflectance value. A copper garage door or one with significant glazing would make a statement:

You could get a "normal" door and get creative with molding..

Agree that what you have does work, but with the brick it's a bit of overkill to emphasize each section....I love the wood doors, too.
