The door with glass and one sidelight is the best option. As for the color and style, the modern door will perfectly match. It will identify the style of your home now it looks transitional. I think color shouldn't be dark I would choose sandy gold, blue or cream for the front door color.

To me, the door and one sidelight work better with your home's window and other asymmetrical elements. Love the black trim and black door or even the chartreuse door for your home.

Thanks everyone! The light blue door Beth posted is most along the lines I am thinking, but Denita's suggestion of one sidelight is worth more thought. The black is a bit too modern and bold for my taste and our neighborhood. But I like the feedback.
