My advice would be no. By now you will have already done or not done it.

But you have very healthy uncut tubers with heatlhy shoots and this will likely produce 5-10 more healthy tubers in the fall.

cutting it Will not change how many shoots are coming off of it, only that you have one less cut to make in the fall.

And it is better for your plant to do the sectioning of the tubers in the fall or at least very early spring before the shoots have started to emerge like in your photo.
