Houzz....what the hell?

What are they doing to this site?

It's totally hard to find the Laundry Room by way of the houzz home page.

NOTHING is arranged alphabetically in the categories section.

No more green hyper links (new entries) that change to gray when there is no added comments.

Everything is so stretched and LARGE. It's not streamlined.

I don't know how much longer I can put up with this horrible web design (and I'm biting my tongue to hold back what I really want to say).

I have...they've changed the whole functionality of the site.

Ugh. Me too! I get this large pick your Houzz box on my screen. I choose "laundry room"; under protest as a last resort. I miss a few days checking into Laundry Room and I come back and have go through an unwelcome labyrinth to get to the forum. Not cool. Not my website either (acknowledged), but still not cool.

    Sparky823...are you multi posting?

I don't know what you are talking about.

Yahoo killed its Yahoo Groups with “Neo”. Looks like Houzz is trying to kill its forums. Ugh.....

I was going to start a thread about the new Tide but it wouldn't let me, just like Pink said it wasn't working for her either.

I did manage to start two threads in the KT but one thread only allowed me one word in the body of the thread. This is after many many tries. Since than I've tried a dozen more times but can't do it.

Just found this today - and I can't find any topic I'm looking for - maybe I'm missing something but it seems to be organized poorly.

I agree with dados, while I hope it all gets worked out. If it does not, then oh well, it was great while it lasted. But seriously, if it ain’t broke why fix it ... er ... change it???

What happen here is the typical outcome of hiring inexperienced, low skilled cheap workers; working on poorly conceived CHANGES/UPDATES and lead by clueless managers. Those type of workers would all be fired from high caliber high tech companies.

If everyone used their fingers on little symbol in the upper right of every post to indicate the Miscagegorized multi category posts, they’d get an idea of how widespread and disruptive that has been. Pick 5 forums at the middle or bottom bottom of the list and go through them. Try to pick a few obscure ones. The only way they know the depth of the issue is if they have to deal with the issue.

One topic=one category! Design Dilemma posts should be in the individual GW forums. GW should swallow Houzz. Not the other way around!

If everyone who has an tech issue with the GW integration would post in the Using Houzz Forum with a new post stating their problem, and then post in this thread to keep the thread numbers growing, they might realize how widespread the issues are.

Post on their Facebook page too.

    Numbers rule.

Trying to search for a specific topic doesn't seem to be working for me.
