My wife and I recently moved and we need to get her home office in order. Thinking about the Ikea boxes below but a little worried about creating a wall of grey. The problem is that vertical support beam on the shelves (which were originally bought to store records)—it means storage boxes can be 10 1/2” deep at the most. We plan on hanging some big art (two vintage prints of birds) above the printer to balance out the height. The furniture is all the same kind of honeybrown as that filing cabinet, and there’s a red, beige and turquoise-y Persian rug.
