You could install picture frame moulding around both the windows and around your painting.

With or without wainscoting or picture frame moulding beneath the windows.

A nice simple pattern....2 tone curtains on a decorator rod, with either the cafe rings (allow for the few extra inches of length) or the grommett(allow for the few less inches length) when mounting the rods...I like them within inches of the ceiling, but your windows look pretty tall already, so you might do okay with them just at the top of the molding. Depends on the length of the panels. If they are wide, you might get by with one per window, actually....if you buy one pair. Or openstock...whichever fabric you like..They have so many pretty ones....and these are variable on how you place them on the rod & what color you like...gray, blue, etc etc.https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/product/dkny-front-row-back-tab-sheer-window-curtain-panel/3287894?color=&skuId=&fromPage=undefined

it's really difficult to make suggestions based on that little piece of the room. My 1st thought was curtains but can't give you a style because it looks like there is at least 1 other window in the room. Your rug looks to be browns & the art is blue??? Light in the corner is useless as it just lights the ceiling.

So pretty!!! Maybe you will find a solid drapery panel is better, with your rug and your art. Loving the start you have! Your lamp is fine. A soft light in the night on the ceiling makes the room glow.

You need lots more light, then curtains, then a larger rug.

IMO the TV and media cabinet should have been placed between the two narrow windows.

Then the sectional needs to be moved to accommodate the change.

Hard to know if this layout will work without all the dimensions, but maybe this is an option for your room.

Nice room with plenty of natural light.

Like the blue on blue rug.

For the sake of symmetry -- and to make room for curtains/drapes and your corner floor lamp -- you might try pulling your sofa away from the large picture window so the edge of the left end is centered in between the two windows and centered beneath the art -- with the rug beneath the sofa so the left outer edge of it is also midway between the two windows and centered between the art, as well.

The right end table at the left end of the sofa could be preferable to a floor lamp there.

Something substantial.

You might consider a floor lamp table combo on the right end of the sofa between the sofa and chair -- one that doesn't take up a lot of room (no splayed legs).

See if you can find solid color curtains/drapes for the windows with a shade of blue from your art. Use rods long enough so the curtains/drapes on the smaller windows cover very little of the glass -- let as much of the natural light in as possible.

While the throw pillow you have is nice (might it be repurposed for a bedroom?), lighter/brighter colors will cheer up the room better so do see if you can find a couple interesting throw pillows with the blue colors in either your art and/or rug,

I agree with the curtains! And maybe a shelf Or two!

Holly if u have a basement u can just run the cords thru floor to the basement and then back up thru the floor of the wall in which u want to move the cords! We did this in r old house and I had the options of changing the room around with the tv

What BevFlad designed and pictured.....Sometimes it's just nice to think of a world without a television...I think the picture you have between the windows is lovely! I don't know. I like the big screen televisions in a media room, but in such a lovely room, the days when they put them into an armoire....in a corner......are a VERY pleasant idea! If only televisions could all be installed inside the media cabinet and raised only when viewing....which is about 90 minutes an evening, and half of those are just so he can hold the remote-- as it is an instant nap in the chair, device! LOL What will the final outcome be? Watching.....such a pretty room!
