My five Anastasia bulbs were growing just fine, had developed flower buds, when they suddenly turned brown at the bottoms of the stems, and flopped over and died. My Casa Blanca lilies did that previous years. They come back the next year but small, and don't bloom. Then they do it over again. It's not rot, since they come back, and we certainly don't have much water here. The other lilies (L. leucanthum, Silk Road, Scheherezade, Black Beauty) haven't done this. All the Casa Blanca, and all the Anastasia's have done this (Anastasia was new this year). What could be the problem?
