I would suggest you consider a Bosch package if you are interested in a deal. I am unsure of Bosch's speed ovens though. I think the GE Advantium ones are much better regarded (there are two versions of the GE Advantium, the 240 volt one is better by far, I am told.)

If you want to treat yourself, I would suggest you look at a Combi Steam Oven (CSO) from Miele.

Planning a new kitchen can be overwhelming- but so exciting too.

PS As a rule, it is a good idea to consider each appliance individually and choose the best ones for your needs and budget. Bosch and Miele are both very good across multiple categories, so I felt I could suggest Bosch in order to take advantage of a package deal.

Do not feel you need to stick to one brand.......look at each one to consider what you want and don't want from it. Do you want knobs or touchscreens? Convection cooking option or not? French door fridge, or a different configuration? Etc. For instance, when I bought all my kitchen appliances last year, I had a few specific desires: an induction range with knobs, no water or ice dispenser in my fridge, a bottom-freezer fridge (without French doors). That narrowed my choices and I got closer to getting appliances I'm really happy with - then I went out to handle them in person, so I could see if they ergonomically worked for me or if they felt awkward.

I have been looking in to Jenn Air myself for the convection oven. It is a great deal they have until June 30th, but still a pricey set. If you look at Consumer Reports (customer reported) reliability ratings different manufacturers excel in each appliance category. This would suggest to buy a la carte, as previous replies have also suggested. Jenn Air is owned by/the same company as Kitchen Aid. I've found that Kitchen Aid are middle range for reliability, if that helps.

I agree with Toronto that when you have specific features you are looking for it should narrow down the field. I'd suggest listing must haves and like to haves for each appliance and looking at each appliance separately. (Trying to look at all appliances at once can be confusing and overwhelming.) You may find that your tops in more than one category are the same brand and if you want to go with one brand, you can buy all the other appliances from that maker as well.

(If you do buy a la carte, handles will probably be different on fridge, dishwasher and oven, if that is a consideration.)

With my budget I chose a Fridgidare induction range, and a Whirlpool D/W - going cheaper for the D/W because if it comes down to that, I can always wash by hand. (Sometimes, I do anyway...)

For the type of appliance you want, it really is best to look at current offerings and decide based on the ability it has to do what you want it to do.
