Lemon basil possible disease

Hi all. Thanks in advance for reading/replying to my post!
My lemon basil started to get these dark spots.
some type of disease? The plant did not make it unfortunately. My concern is for my other plants in the garden. Another plant has similar spots
Is this something I can cure or stop from spreading? Anyone have a possbly name for the disease?
