Two months ago I planted 2 persimmon trees: Nikita's Gift and Prok persimmon.

Prok was in 3 Gallon pot and Nikita's was bare rooted.

Both are grafted and roots did look black at the time of pick up. Since I never did see persimmon root before I did not ask any questions, and potted tree was kind of loose soil and just half even less than that did have soil in container, it looked like it was just dumped there that very moment when I picked it up.

There is no sign of life in these persimmon trees although 2 months should be enough to start some green tips? I did not complain yet because I did read somewhere that persimmons take long time to wake up.

I do worry now about it.

Please, help me: should I call nursery or should I wait longer?

Please, help me how to handle this and could you right a paragraph for me how to tell them that my persimmons might be dead? I do worry about my english language and I do not want to create misunderstanding.
