MP, no, mine was not in a Monrovia pot but that doesn't mean it didn't come from the same TC batch. 'Snake Eyes' was discovered in batch of 'Striptease' plugs back in 2000 and was finally registered in 2005. My specimen wasn't the only one that was 'Snake Eyes', matter of fact all the samples I checked that were labeled 'Striptease' weren't as labeled, must have been 6 or 7 of them anyway, to varying degrees all were like the one I picked up.

It'll be interesting to see how yours changes with the season. With the cream variegation I'm hesitant to call it 'Snake Eyes', I'll have to do some more digging through the various 'Striptease' sports Hugo lists in his database and see if there's a match.

So far the only thing that's looked remotely close is Kiwi Tease, and that doesn't have the eye. I couldn't find pictures of some of the hostas on the list, though. It looks like Striptease loves to pop up with new variations.

Good luck with your plant, and if you should happen to ID mine while hunting, I'd appreciate it if you'd post. Yours looks like Snake Eyes, but you'll have to count veins, look at flowers, etc.

Thought a better look might be helpful., so here are a couple close ups of leaves. The youngest ones have more streaks, no eye.

If it weren't for the creme instead of white it'd be 'Snake Eyes'. Stranger things have been known to happen, you may well have something new and unique.
