You could try putting a console table against the wall and placing a large piece of art on the wall drawing your eyes up.

Not necessarily black frames [might be minor-nice with black appliance], but a nature theme? 2 baskets in middle, vertically. 2 prints outside horizontally.

Everdebz, yes that's funny you caught the color mix in chairs. It was not intentional. We had w chairs already with the old table. My husband refused to buy 6 new chairs and wanted to just buy 4 more but they had discontinued that color.

I can't put a console of any sort there. I wish, but then chairs can't move in or out. Our house is pretty small.
