Hi! I have a large (1500 sqft) old garden that I'm no longer using, and weeds have overrun it. I'll pull the big ones but creeping charlie has taken over and it has also taken over my lawn. I'd love an organic solution but I know how stubborn creeping charlie is and I'm open to something stronger if necessary.

Here's my question: If I use a non-selective weed killer in the old garden, how long do I have to wait before I plant grass seed over it? And am I right that I need to use a different type of weed killer for the creeping charlie in my lawn? Is there something I can use for everything so I don't have to spray twice? And how long do I have to keep my kids away from it?
