I am really struggling with my master bedroom layout. I was blessed with a large bedroom, which I love, but I'm overwhelmed by the amount of space. Specifically, I'm wondering how to incorporate an inviting seating arrangement. I usually aim towards more modern decor, but I wanted something more traditional in the bedroom. I'm also struggling with that, too. Maybe I took a theme too far?

It it seems obvious to me that the bed goes on wall B. I have a settee that could go at the foot of the bed (I like that look and then if you sat on the settee you'd be looking into the yard) but then it seems to interfere with traffic going from the door to the right side of the bed. Should I try the bed under the window? There are matching dressers on the sides of the mirrors which could work as bedside tables, though they are taller than the bed.

Area C seems like the obvious place for the seating area, but when I put the settee on the wall I feel like everything is shoved flat against a wall and there isn't any dimension to the room if that makes sense. Putting it at an angle seems weird too. I could abandon the settee and get two chairs? The settee could go under the window? I could add a chair to the settee. I could put the settee in area D and a table and two chairs in area C or a writing desk. I do want a bookshelf and have a campaign bookshelf from cost plus that I like. I could also put the seating area in area C, bookshelves in area D, but do I really want to have shelves next to the bed? Also, I was planning on putting mirrors above the matching dressers which are currently on either side of the window on wall A. Would it be cluttered feeling to reflect a bookcase?

Bedding is all white with with a vintage shibori throw. We have a queen bed. No headboard at this time. I was thinking something to match the settee, like a pottery barn tufted chesterfield.

The settee is 60 in wide and 36 in deep.
