My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Love the ceiling treatment!

I love the ceiling treatment in this room. Can you give a very rough estimate of the cost of something like this? We're remodeling and have a very similar living room as this. We're on a remodeling budget and trying to prioritize our projects. I feel like a ceiling treatment like this adds a "wow" factor and value. My husband agrees, but we're trying to determine at what cost. Thanks for any insight you can add.

    The ceiling treatment in that photo is v-groove poplar paneling with timber beams. To get an up-to-date price estimate on the treatment, we reached out to our friends at JPR Builders for a rough estimate. Their best guess from looking at the photo would be somewhere around $10,000. This would be for blocking in the trusses, paneling, timbers, painting and labor. We hope this helps in your decision.

      The area rug was purchased by the homeowner, so I do not have details on that.

      would love to know the height of the fireplace and height of ceiling. Gorgeous!!!

      The wall height is 11'-9". This is the point where the ceiling slope starts. There is a flat portion at the high point of the ceiling and this is at 17'-6". The fireplace is a little over 13' tall at the highest portion.
