Just got this haphidophora cryptantha. This is a rather big plant. Can't resist not getting it.
Really cool! Pls. keep posting further photos...
Cool! A shingle plant.
This morning new shoot.
Is it attached to the post yet? I don't think I'll ever see one of these but nothing would stop me from getting it if I did. So cool!
Tiffany when I saw this, there is no second thought. Just pack it , pay and go.
I have never seen that plant before. It's VERY pretty. Is it like a Philodendren that can grow attached to a stake, or do you separate it? Very attractive plant!
Robin, it has to grow on a stake, wall or tree.
I was checking the plant again. Under the top leave found another shoot.
Robin, the title of the discussion is the botanical name of the plant. I've only ever seen this in pics. Monstera dubia is similar, they may be synonyms or just very similar plants.
I didn't know I needed this plant.
Love the veining on the leaves, not to mention the growth habit. I've never actually seen one of these, only in photos.
Is not common where I live. This is the second time I saw this plant on sale. Actually this is my second Rhaphidophora cryptantha. The first one was a small cutting which is not stable yet farmer said. But I have to have it. Unfortunately it did not work out. But try to save the plant, now it in a pot try to root the reminder vines of the plant.
Until I found this current plant, much bigger an already rooted and stable. Below is what ever left.
Update growth of shoot. It growing fast and longer.
Update growth. Need to extend the wooden stake
Awesome! It looks like it needs a new board to climb.
Yes Tiffany it needs an extension board... Was thinking what is a better extension...
Today images is growing more.
Even lower bottom is growing shoots.
How big has it grown by now?
