dining room rug

I am getting rid of my DR rug because it is ols and too big for the room It is cream with blue/green and beige in a floral pattern. I would like to incorporate some pink in the new rug to warm up the space, but I don't know if that is appropriate. I would send a pic. but I don't know how.
