I am looking to replace my 1950's windows that are steel framed and casement (crank out). They are beautiful and have about a 1" profile. Of course they are single pane and it takes two people to open and close them. I would love to find a similar replacement? I have found the casements add width to the frame. I have checked out milgard, western window systems, and torrance steel windows. So far Torrance Steel Windows has the lowest profile but I wanted to make sure I reviewed all of my options. Does anyone have a recommendation? I will look at any price range, but i do live in California so Title 24 is a factor.
