The voles liked mine, and because of the brown foliage even when healthy, I didn’t feel it was worth trying to save for just a couple of weeks of pink blooms.

its severely stressed for some reason ... my gut always tells me not to slather oils on a stressed plant ... especially if you find nothing on the plant to spray .. eh???

when you planted it.. was it severely rootbound.. did you do any root surgery ... or was it just plopped in the hole??? .. could there be a serious divergent soil issue????

once it cools in fall.. i might dig it up.. and find out whats going on.. where we cant see.. underground ...

and that would be only if i didnt make babs ultimate basal cut.. lol ..

It requires a very sophisticated composition to make a brown shrub sing. I think I'll let Mother Nature work her will...
