Is something eating my cacti?

They were fine a couple days ago only to appear to be gashed out as of today. There were some white specs on the Indian Corn Cob (the white one) and I am not sure if this is the result of insect activity or a bacterial/fungal infection. I sprayed with horticultural oil and copper fungicide.
