yes all chairs should be on the rug when pulled out

Thank you!

you need 2-2.5 extra rug all around the table to make this work....all chair legs on rug when chair is pulled out.

If I take the leaves out of the table, it works. My dining room is small (12x12), so the table fits better when there aren’t leaves in it, but I personally like the look of a longer table. Without the leaves my table measures 69 ½” long. With one leaf it’s 89”. I think the 89” is more elegant, but not as much room to circulate. My dilemma is this, keep 8 x 10 rug, leave table at 69” without its leaves, have plenty of space to circulate, but it may not look quite as lovely. Or return rug (forfeit $50 in the process), buy one that’s 8 x 11, put one leaf in the table which is more visually appealing, but have less room to move around. Any advice for me?

Yes

Good advice. Thank you, Constine and Craftsman!

I agree return the current rug and purchase the correct size for the table measurement you prefer.

That’s helpful to hear also. Thank you.
