What about the sheen?

I am painting my basement. Just to give a little info: The basement is on the small side, the windows are wide, and the ceiling is low.
I love the color yellow, but I want to make the room look bigger. So I went with "Buzz in" yellow and the baseboards will be white. I'm not sure what sheen I should use. Should I use different sheens on different parts of the room? Thanks!!
