Can you put a microwave in a pantry?

We bought a pre construction house and I am looking for ideas of where we can put our microwave, other than an over the range microwave. We are having a large pantry put in the kitchen and am wondering if you can put a microwave in it.

Most of the microwaves we install are pretty small. If you don't need a large one, I'd go for a counter top model over putting on in the pantry because your pantry won't have that much ventilation. You could also go the appliance garage route. Here are examples:
