My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
Yes, if no pit then pokeweed would probably be it. Haven't grown any avacado pits in quite a while. What's the point in z6a if you don't have a greenhouse, and even then I'm not sure it would be doable. I do have pokeweed, and that seems like a perfect fit. Pokeweeds are very good at seeding around, so unless you love poke sallet you may want to remove them before they become a problem.
