A small table

Shape doesn't work here and too many corners plus a corner area to boot-too harsh.

try a Demi lune no corners there :)

What would look nice there is a wooden sitting bench with green flowered pillows.

Every art gallery needs a bench;)

I don't think that flowers would go with the art on the wall.

Demi lune is so expected. I need color and some texture!! Bench would be too low I think? I had a little orange pouf there which was about 22 inches high and it was not tall enough. Looks weird height wise. Need something with height.

Depends on height I guess and how it would fit it that corner? I think I need something round? But I obviously am asking bc I am lost!!!!

Floating shelf would be kind of odd here because it's very low...

Does a gallery wall need something there? I like the breathing space and "less is more aspect" there. Wouldn't someone on a bench possibly hit his or her head on the paintings?

What about adding a piece or two of complementary sculpture , to scale, and keep the art gallery feel to the space? The sculpture would also hide any outlets and if the outlet accepts the right kind of plug, there could be accent lighting.

you need to work with the space that is available to you ,round will not work in this space this is why I chose the Demi lune ,no corner to run it into

I say go with an upholstered bench in perhaps an ikat pattern?

Tricky part is its a corner area so I do have to work w what I have. I wish an ottoman would be high enough I think upholstered would be nice here.

Becky that bench is too large I only have 27 inches high and maybe 26 in width and 16 ish in depth.

A small table with a little tray so guests or yourself can stash small items in it. Maybe also a nice vase :)

If Amelia doesn't mind me adding to her idea...perhaps maybe you could place a small telephone table in this area. Google antique telephone table for ideas.

I don't think it needs furniture. I would take my time and add to it, going lower and a bit higher creating a gallery. Love your art work!

I think a round table would be nice in the space. Then you could put a lamp and a small tray on it for keys, etc.

This is what it would look like. The lamp is not the one I would choose for the space, however.

I would absolutely leave it alone and let the art shine. Not every corner needs to be filled in, and not every entry area needs a small table with vases and lamps on it (I know people won't like hearing that - it's just my personal opinion). :-)

Boot tray?

What about getting a custom coffee table with your exact dimensions? It would be possible to have a table built exactly into that corner!

It's not right when you walk in at the front door-its probably 8 feet down a hallway and first " wall " you see when walking in so no boot tray it wouldn't make any sense...

you could have ceramic vases as suggested by the photo but on a smaller scale!

I'm sorry, but that looks like they've been out there as storage! Doesn't make much sense.

What about a trunk?

I would add a small armless chair. Perhaps add a red cushion on the seat for a punch of color. Noticed some red in one of the prints. Lovely!

Go eclectic and place a vintage, porcelain umbrella stand in the corner.

Raise the photo on the left to the same height as the top picture on the right and add 2 floating shelves the same width as the frame. I would keep the floor space clear.

I like the idea of adding more art and not adding anything else - in this case less is more and the focus would be on the art. It could go from a cute corner to a really impactful area.

It's rare to know the outcome on these projects we help put together. As much as we'd like to see the finished result, rare are the posters who come back and share their finished spaces. I have to suspect those who don't share never really did anything anyway, so we just have to move on.
