Lovely earth colors together! To me you have combined industrial, farmhouse, simplicity and nature very nicely! I'm not a designer by any means but having searched and researched area rugs for our very similar dining space but with a sliding glass door instead of your windows for years now I believe a your rug should be bigger, so that your dining chairs would be sitting on it too. If you find a jute one it would fit in with your earth textures but that could be me.

Would you please tell us the paint brands and colors? Also would you please tell us where you found those wall shelves? (The metal work is classy.)
