Maybe a gray subway tile or gray glass? I don't love the tile on the right side of the granite. The one one the left is better in my opinion. I think something pearlescent might be too much.

Sigh... Please take photo with granite flat and tile perpendicular...in the same temperature lighting you plan to use. SO much depends on the lighting temperature AND at what angle said light hits the product. Also, tell us if you are going to install under cabinet lighting. This strategy will avoid the dreaded, "But, but, it looks so different on the wall".

Passive is very pretty.. I just did a medical office with the adjacent color for accent walls (Argos) on the swatch shown. It's a real chameleon color.

Whats the tile size? Any size you’d recommend over another? I mentioned before I’d like to do a longer tile but still staggered subway type (right word?) pattern

We are still about 2 months away from tile installation. I’m going to email the tile people and builder to ask if I can do the backsplash after counters are installed. Only thing I worry about is - shouldn’t the tile go before the range hood install? Or does that not matter?

yes you can do tile afterward (prob cheaper for you),,

and yes, normally tile is up and range hood installed. (do you plan on taking the tile all the way up past the hood to the ceiling?) It's not a big deal to unscrew it so the tile guy can get to it. just tell your installers you will be having tile so they can adjust for depth.

this is the Horizons tile from DalTile. they have a few other colors too. moonlight is on page 3,,,and look at Tide on page 4

ok. the latter you can just tile while in place. the former, have a tile on hand so the installer knows how thick it is and can install accordingly. here are some looks of different ones and how they've tiled

oh those are pretty. first time I"ve seen them in a real pic. I like them both! but tide does pick up the light blue/grays. those are going to be beautiful on the wall!
