Worth every penny.

I don't have it, but I don't think I've ever heard a single negative comment about Advantiums -- all positive!

The only caveat is that if it will be your only MW and your only oven, then you won't be able to use both at the same time b/c it's only one appliance. E.g., roasting meat and MWing veggies at the same time. However, if it's your second oven, then it usually isn't that big an issue (except maybe at Thanksgiving!)

I have heard a negative - but only about the less powerful 120V version. It's just not powerful enough. You need to spend the extra for the 240V version.

I would not do the 120V version based on experience with one - as Miranda33 says, not powerful enough.

Also, if this is to be the only microwave, keep in mind if you use it to bake/roast/speed something you have to wait for it to cool down before you can use it for microwaving.

You have to remember to change the trays from metal to glass going between bake/speed and microwave.

i put one in my last kitchen and I didn't put one in this kitchen. I really never used it and swapping the trays was a PITA. Plus they took up a whole drawer of storage. I don't miss it.
