How old is she?

Has she recently had surgery? Or an illness?

Any changes to your household?

Is she otherwise her normal self?

Have you tried feeding her chicken and rice?

Is she drinking plenty of water?

how long has this been going on?

what do you mean by "a few" days? 2, 3, more?

did the vet do any blood work? when was the last time you took her in?

It's not normal and you need to see a better vet

It could be that they are stressed about something or sick, that is not usually what I would term as normal unless the vet knows about some underlying condition that would cause a loss of appetite like that. I would go with the chicken and rice like One Devoted Dame suggested and make sure that they are drinking water. I would suggest following up with the vet as well.

If the dog usually eats fine, but then stops then something is wrong. As other's have said get to the vet immediately.

If this is a new dog with no history of eating at your house, then you can usually tempt the dog to eat by starting with something super-appetizing, and then gradually over about 10 days mixing in dog food to get them on the diet you want. A bit of human food with no onions, peppers or excess salt can work - like chicken & rice & cooked veggies or pot roast & potatoes. Mix a bit of dog food with that and see if you get some interest.

Once you find something that works, gradually decrease the people food and increase the dog food until after 10 days or so it's all dog food with just a tablespoon of something extra mixed in.
