Windows Design Dilemma Bedroom

Window treatment advice

Good morning. I need some advice on softening my bedroom windows. The three windows are set very close together. Would you suggest one long rod with three sets of curtains? One rod and one set of curtains? Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks.

I would keep the shades for room darkening, but during the day I suggest rolling them up so you see the entire window.. There is a fair amount of solid wall above, so thinking a beautiful valance, hung as high as possible, having the fabric come down and just cover the frame of the windows and the shades. The windows will look taller.

I agree with Judy. Don't use curtains because of the bench and the limited wall space on each side of the windows. Keep the shades for privacy and light control. Add a valance or cornice to soften the windows and bring color and pattern into the room.
