Marcia, beautiful picture! But you are going to bromeliad HEAVEN! I love bromeliads... you should think about getting into them (if you aren't already)...they are soooo easy... have never lost one yet... and you will be so close to so many excellent choices! Southwest part of Florida is my dream destination to plant-shop. :)

Daylilies grow here too, just different varieties.

Exactly. Daylilies do great here. Even northern varieties. Hubs had a 40-plant, named species, daylily garden in northern KY…we brought them all with us. They all bloom beautifully every year. Of course he has since added some local ones!

I'll have to look in to southern daylilies. There are so many different colors of daylilies in my PA garden.

I would bring some of my favorites. So many day lilies do great here I would bet many that you have will to
