Hi, we have a new construction home with attached garage that has a gap between the drywall and slab. From reading online the gap is intentionally left so that the dry wall does not get wet from touching the concrete. However there are lots of spiders, mosquiotes, wasps that run under the gap and we are looking for a way to make a barrier so they can’t make themselves at homes in the gap. I read about adding trim or gluing viny/rubber wall base which I think will work in some sections, but not sure what to do for the sections of wall that are over the slab. The drywall is NOT flush with the slab. The slab also slopes toward the garage door. There is a bit of an overhang (~1inch or less?) of the dry wall unfortunately :(

(builder told us the walls that are attached to the home and sealed on the interior so not concerned about entry into home, but would still like the garage walls themselves to be better sealed if possible)
