friday, we were in a city 40 miles away. while there we saw man almost get attacked by a dog chained in some bushes, while he used the garbage can. we found it was a breeding mom, i think a hooch dog. and she was actually in a yard behind the parking lot, she was hiding in these big bushes and vines to stay cool. she had no water or food that we could tell. she was around 90 lbs. we have spent our lives working with lost dogs. my husband, who is big, has dealt with dogs 6 ft on their hind legs and over 100 lbs. this dog was so aggressive, he dropped his water cup. behind the fence we heard more large dogs behind the fence and in the house or basement. the kind of confident agression she showed along with her heavily cropped ears, means they were raised as attack/guard dogs or fighters.

the reason for all this is that between us and other passersby we called the cops 3 times. we then left and stopped at a vet. they were not very interested and gave us the number to the local humane society. they also were not very interested and said that they know who it is but the city requires they go through their animal person, but that they would call.

this was not a very big house in a city neighborhood. i do not know what they are waiting on, but i know the result will be dogs being euthanized because of these bad people. in the past we have not had good luck with other issues with the tv channels. any ideas?
