I used Miracle Methods in Raleigh. I will tell you that the materials used are temperamental and they had to come back after a few months and fix. However, the owner, Keith Lund, stood behind his product and word and sent his guys out to fix the issue. We have not had any further problems and the tub especially looks great! The doors underneath have since been painted a bright white.

You paid for it, they should fix it. Is this a removeable panel used to service the motor? Then it can be recessed. I'm thinking the contractor has been paid and long gone. But the tile work looks very good so I would call him and ask him if they could recess it. Question is this a real panel or just trim applied to the front of the board.

Very easy solution,we convert these all the time The main goal is to not seethe toilet when the door is open only attainable half of the time due to size limitations.put a nice walk in shower where your tub is ,destroy the walls shower and clear that area ,turn the toilet with the back against the wall where you walk in ,and lastly get a nice big vanity with two sinks .. Nice project.PS We almost always move /eliminate the plumbing in a bathroom Reno anyways.Never let the plumbing dictate where things go.

Most three sided tubs will have a tile flange raising upwards from those three sides. That flange needs to be covered, or it will look pretty strange. That means building a small wall down on that end of the tub that comes up and wraps over the tile flange with tile. Maybe cap it off with similar material as your countertop. Could be a nice place to set a book or glass of wine will in the tub. If you don't want to build that short wall, take a look at other tubs that have an end. I believe Oceana Bathtubs has a couple.
