I like the chest in the foyer and the new paint color. I think you should replace the striped loveseat with a table which would serve as a landing space for keys, handbags etc. If you need a bench I have seen console tables with matching ottomans below which can be pulled out if needed. Above the table should be a mirror or a nice piece of art. I like the mirror over the chest, but it does feel a tad small. You could replace it with a piece of art (vertical rectangle) or a larger mirror. You would only have one mirror in the space so it could go above the new table or above the chest.

I’d remove that chair and put a cool bench there, maybe a storage bench. Do people sit there? The entry table is very traditional, I might change it out for a transitional piece, or at very least change what’s on top of it, get rid of the table runner. Love the new paint color.

You have a really nice chest in a good location. I would leave it there, but remove the cloth from the top. The lamp looks nice. If you are using flowers there, real or fake, make the arrangement larger. The striped seat is too large for that area.

I like family pics, but it does look less cluttered without them. Do you have another area for the gallery? I tend to gravitate towards black for frames, but you can have a mix.

You can help to set the tone you want by your choice of mirror over the chest and artwork on the wall where the striped seat is now. A rug in the style you like would also be nice. Pretty paint choice!

Thank you everyone for all your suggestions, will get rid of table runner as suggested and the striped loveseat is definitely going, just trying to find the right bench and framed art. Not sure of wood tone or color bench and mirror should be.

You don't need a very large bench.
