To be honest, I like your landscaping. It is very symmetric, just like the rest of your house. I would even add some more lighting to your landscaping, perhaps some uplights into your trimmed holly trees and some modern lanterns attached on the sides of your front door.
I think the redish brick looks great with the green (opposites on the colour wheel, therefor very pleasing to the eye). You could add some more colour with blooming bushes or flowers, or some urns by the front door, perhaps in a more modern style.

It's SO pretty. It's NOT a green blob look. Love the lushness. Maybe you need to go to a desert town to fully appreciate just how gorgeous this is....

where are you located/ what zone?

I would add some tall grasses to break up the round shapes. You also could add a curing planter bead over to the lawn area. This would disguise the linear shrubs. I attached images of grasses just for concept but without knowing what zone we won't be able to tell you exactly which ones work.
