Two finishes for me!

I made this quilt for our first exchange student and his wife. They are expecting baby #2 at the end of October so this one will be winging its way to Switzerland soon. The colors aren't quite right in the photo - they seem more pink than they really are!

This one was a crumb quilt UFO in the closet I got sandwiched and quilted. No home for it yet, but it does feel good to get it finished. I can't keep up with Lois, but I am going to work on knocking out some of the tops that are finished!

Yes both are quite nice! I'm feeling like I need to spend some more time in my sewing room, too, Theresa. I need some finishes, too!

I like your quilts, Sue. I've gotten some small UFO projects done this year, and it does give you a good feeling.

They are both very pretty. I think the crumb one looks sophisticated, although usually I don't feel that way about scrappy, (although I love scrappy). (Make sense? Maybe I should go to bed.)

Sue, both of your quilts are great, but I especially like the crumb quilt. I agree with Bev that it's very sophisticated looking - modern too. I'm kind of obsessed right now to get these quilts finished. I don't know that I do my best work while obsessed, but it's what's happening right now. I finished one more tonight.

Love them both, especially the colors in the crumb quilt, but the first one I love for the design, looks like one I'd like to make. I'm so impressed with this "finish the UFO's bug" going around, what's the deal anyway?? This forum was in such a slump for awhile, now it's alive again, I'm really loving it.
