Amaryllis/Hippeastrum

Getting ready for the chill

Hi. This year I will be placing my amaryllises in the fridge to chill them in order to get them to bloom for Christmas. This will be my first attempt in doing so. Do I need to do anything special before I do so? Should I douse my bulbs in a fungicide before putting them in the fridge or anything else? Thanks.

Just make sure they're good and dry. Cool and moist equals rot.
