Picture of colorful living room floor

This colorful wood laminate is in the living room & dining room. Would it look ok to put different color wood laminate in the three adjoining bedrooms? Which way to lay the laminate pieces would look right since the bedroom floors are seen from the living room? Should the bedroom floor colors be the same?

When I was house hunting one of the things that turned me off the most was different flooring in different bedrooms. It just looked mismatched and had no real flow to it. That said, maybe pick up the dark hardwood color in the hallway and do that in all the bedrooms. Are you happy with the colorful floors? If it were me I’d probably just replace it all, so everything flows.

I like the colorful floor but I think it would drive me crazy if was in all the rooms. The bedrooms need changed. Was not planning to change the LR & DR or small hall showing there.

i agree that the bedrooms would be best if they were all the same and were done in a color harmonious with the laminate already installed.

Definitely keep the flooring consistent through out the house. It makes the house feel more cohesive and bigger.

In our previous house the owner we bought from used three different laminates and it drove me nuts. Our new house has a cohesive floor throughout the entire house (except tile bathrooms) and we love it. Everyone always says it feels so much bigger too.

Do you all mean you would put the blue colorful floor in the bedrooms too? Or pick one of the colors from the colorful floor and use in all the bedrooms. Thanks
