Mine are ready to mail. I just need to find some American money to enclose, pennies weigh too much. Looks like they could use a press.

Mine are on the way, too. Just realized I forgot to include $$ for July and August! YIKES. I will send that off in the mail. Sorry.

Hi Sue, Yes, I have your blocks safely stored with Jennifer's, I really like this block, it will make a great quilt for some lucky winner!

Valerie, if you haven't moved since 2013, I have your address. Please confirm. I finished one block tonight and will complete 2 more to mail out next week.

Here are mine, mailed today. I love this block, so bright and crisp...and easy!

I agree. It will make a pretty quilt. I just came to check whether the little squares are mixed and I see they are. I'm just cutting mine, but will get them done by the weekend.

Question - which way did everyone iron the triangles? Directions say "towards the square base". Does that mean towards the center or towards the triangle? Help!

I took it to mean the white.

Thanks to those answering Carol's question. I made the sample blocks so long ago, I don't remember which way I pressed. I just recall spinning my wheels picking out which fabrics to use for the chips as scrappy doesn't come easy for me. I really like this block, too! I think when all our blocks are mixed together, it's going to look great.

Still have two more weeks to get blocks submitted, plenty of time to participate!

I finished mine yesterday. I stuck them on the wall as I finished them. Once I got them on the wall, I took a photo. Then came the senior moment - "Oh no, I made one of them backwards!". It took a moment, then came the "duh".

Mailed 3 August blocks on Tuesday, you might have already received them. Mailed September in the same envelope! Here's a photo of August blocks.

Just curious Val. Have my blocks arrived? I am not thrilled with our postal service(s).

Theresa, your blocks arrived and I'm waiting on Carol's, from Nevada, before pulling the winner. So far there are 15 blocks and 3 more are due, this will make a great quilt for a lucky winner.....

What?! I can't believe they didn't arrive yet! I mailed a large tan envelope to you on 8/21 and it said it should have arrived by 8/24! I looked for the receipt to see about tracking and there is no tracking # on it. I mailed September blocks with it, so now I'm really upset! For once mailing early (for me) is not a good thing. Keep me posted. Thanks.

Carol, our local post office is notorious for delivering to the correct house number, but wrong street. It's a small community, I'm sure it will show up!

Congrats Sue! I'm so happy mine finally got there. From now on I'll make sure there's tracking! Trainee at my PO and I didn't think to ask, the others know I always want tracking on my items. Lessons learned From!

The quilt blocks arrived and they are great! Anxious to put these together but I have a wedding quilt that I HAVE to finish first!
