I'm thinking a freestanding towel bat in between the vanities, like this

thats a good question. you have a switch and outlets in all the places i would have chosen first. if you put a hook on the left side of each vanity, are you going to ruin the wood or are you a little careful?

i cant tell how much space is to the right of the right vanity, i'd like them on the wall but that might be too tight there.

Depending on how low the mirror goes, you could do a towel ring between the two vanities.

(i was limiting my choices to those having 2 towels as i refuse to daub my mouth after brushing my teeth on a towel that my husband used to dry i dont even want to think about what with.)

Good news guys - They're Ikea Godmorgon vanities, so no worries on ruining the wood (Or even screwing into the material).

LOL @ninigret...Using my husbands hand towel...where's that emoji face with the grimace, hah.

When I was redoing my bathrooms, I remember seeing towel bars that came straight out from the wall and were placed at the end of a vanity. You could do something like that next to each vanity. Maybe Kohler? (I'm at work now, so can't look for you!!)

Zelda/Bkeith/Suzette, am rolling with your suggestion - The sleek and modern towel bar on the side of the vanity. Just ordered and think with a fun, colorful towel (a la Suzette) it will look great. :-)
