Hello Busy Mama, What a great outdoor space!! I think a sofa and two chairs would be really lovely out here. With the layout of your space I am guessing you'll want easy access no matter if you're coming from the yard or the house. Couches and chairs are easier to change the layout in my opinion. There are tons of cool and modern looking metal chair sets, I just always like something that looks comfortable. I would probably choose something wicker with cushions for seating if it were my backyard.

It looks like you're in a warmer climate, so it might also be nice to do a large cantilevered umbrella, maybe in a pop of color? Reds and oranges would look nice against the gray house and red brick patio.

I also love outdoor fireplaces, they can really make a space feel cozy and have the appeal of a fire without all the smoke.

A table and some chairs with an umbrella would look good. Also, some colorful planters would make the area inviting.

Whenever we use our patio, everyone always appreciates having their own chair rather than sit on a sofa with others. Everyone seems much more comfortable and relaxed. It also gives you the most flexibility to move seats around based on where the sun is. A center table/fireplace surrounded by chairs would work great with the lovely curved brick edging.
