Try googling Warm Wishes quilt pattern and see if you think that would work.

I will have to get another yard to make a lap size Warm Wishes, according to a post on quiltingboard.

I got a real deal on the closeout fabric at Hancocks, but the fabric on Etsy and Ebay is usually "quilt shop" pricing + shipping. Most of the fabric I've bought on Etsy has been sent by priority mail. So, you end up paying about $18.00 for a yard of fabric. I don't think I like it that much. I'll try Ebay.

Something like this? Pull from your focus fabric for the squares and maybe not use white as your fabric is white background. ???? Hmmmm. no picture...

If you use two focus fabrics like I did in this quilt, one yard of fabric will be enough to make a lap-size Warm Wishes.

I never found the hocus pocus pattern.

I like the Donna Robertson 3 yard quilt. I think the pieces are too small for this fabric, though.

I was wrong, I may not be able to get anymore of the fabric. What they have on Etsy is not the same color, but the same pattern. They apparently made it in two color combinations.

I may just use it for the 6 1/2 inch no theme I spy swap. I'll have to check it to see if it will work without fussy cutting. Fussy cutting just wastes soooo much fabric.

Oops! That should be Focus Pocus. Here's one:

Having a hard time finding examples where the focus fabric has a white background. But this photo at least has lighter focus fabrics (and uses 2 focus fabrics as suggested by Lois). Instead of vertical boxes, you could make squares or orient the boxes horizontally.

This is a good pattern to feature a large fabric. Not sure of the yardage needed. BQ (Big Quilt)
