For months I have been struggling with what type of built ins to put on this wall.I bought a previous 80'' stand alone console and didn't like it. Now, I'm thinking of doing a built in media cabinet below the TV going across the wall (maybe not all the way across but a significant portion of the wall). it's an ofd space because there is no defined end to the wall as it runs right into the kitchen (see on the right).

The issue I'm having is how long should the cabinet be? Should I leave some space between the walls? Any specific design recommendations? I want to keep it with clean lines and low profile. I like the space. Thank you!!
