Sorry, I thought it got sent....stupid me! I didn’t count vein pairs, but if someone has some ideas to throw out. You can’t tell from this picture, but it is a large Hosta, thanks

Some that look similar 'Earth Angel' or 'Afterglow' from this listing: https://www.waltersgardens.com/photo_essay.php?ID=200

Or Hosta montana 'Frances Williams' or 'Aureomarginata'

This is for my friend, “Rosie”. She has over 1000 varieties and been in the biz for years. She’s usually my go to, but this one she just planted and just can’t place it. She’s 86 and going strong..so thanks for the help. It’s defintiely not Montana AM, and she said it’s not Earth Angel (she has lots of both of them), but it may be Climax which After Glow is out of, so she’s going to look into if it could be either of those. She said she knows she had Climax. When she thins out her gardens she puts some down in her slew. Thanks for your ideas.

I just saw her, today and she has determined it’s probablu Frances Williams, the color is just so awesome on it! If you are ever up in northern Minnesota look her up. She’s so knowledgeable and she has people from all over buying and visiting her. She feeds my bad habit. I gave her A Savannah supreme and Captain Kirk, because she couldn’t find them..ha ha..and I ended up coming home with, Blizzard, LS Surfrider, Sara’s Sensation and St. Paul, which puts me near the 300 mark!! About 1/2 of the ones I have came from her..a lovely lady. And her Hosta prices are very reasonable and she has the State come out to certify her...she’ll be 86 this year and can dig up the biggest Hostas like a pro! I love this little lady, if you can’t tell.

Amazing! We can't grow Hosta here in Fairfax VA because the deer population is so high - official estimates of 40-100 deer per square mile. They demolish it. I only have a few varieties but haven't seen them bloom in years as they are always eaten to the ground. Even though we are an suburban county, there are no natural predators so it's a big problem for gardeners. We are not deer lovers.
