In this particular kitchen the area below marble countertop has two rollout shelves. These rollouts hold bulk flour etc & baking pans.

We chose not to harvest the corner district in this kitchen because the opportunity cost was too high. In order to access these blind corners you forgo other things you could do instead. In this kitchen the opposite wall has really large drawers for pots and sauce pans. We figured these drawers would get used every day but the things that were stored in the corner would seldom get used at all.

Think of it like 500 acres in the desert vs 50 feet of waterfront property.
