Can the wires be made shorter?

Can the wires that the crystals hang on be made shorter so that the hanging length is shorter?

    Sorry! There's no way to make the crystal ball wires to be shorter, Installation for all wiring crystal balls need to be followed by the menu/instruction, since it was fabricated as it was originally for flush mount style, It should leave enough high & length for an opening of ceiling high at 7-8' fts+
