Hi! I just bought this settee off of facebook. I know nothing about antiques but it was just so cute and inexpensive so I bought it. The previous owner got it from an estate sale in Belton, SC. They told her that it was 150 years old. I'm not sure that it is. The wood is pretty lightweight which is unusual for real hardwood. Its stuffed with straw and cotton, and has pretty rudimentary detailing on the wood. Thoughts on if this is legit or just a replica made later on?
