I would go with the classic white with black details.

Go to Benjamin Moore or another paint store and check out their color combos. Your house is beautiful- I was going to say something like “be daring with color since paint is easy to change,” but you have a lot of house to paint!!! Grays and tapes are pretty and you can choose a couple coordinating accent colors that are maybe a bit unexpected and fun! I am in the process of painting my house using the three colors attached.

I'd pull Boothbay Gray HC-165 and Nantucket Gray HC-111.

I love it as is. Just repeat. You are correct gray has been over done, it is BLAH and you house will fade into the landscape. Don't do gray!!!

I’m going to be boring and safe and keep as is- the sides are actually cape cod shingle - the previous owner designed it so when she pulls in she’s home and when she’s in her back yard she’s in her “summer home” - very different but it works - i think there are too many things to think about too quickly for now- trim color, shutters - roof may look too light.
